The FAB Trio November 3, 2012

Manhattan-based bassist Joe Fonda assembled this unconventional trio on an uncanny hunch that the combination of sonorities and musical personalities would be a compelling one: basisst Joe Fonda, drummer Barry Altschul, and violinist Billy Bang. Following the FAB Trio's release of !Transforming the Space' (CIMP), the group has been performing in festivals and tours for over eight years, and continues to explore the dynamics within their particular lineup.
