About the artist / DJs…

Alland Byallo is west coast born producer, record label owner and DJ extraordinaire. He’s released music on some of the biggest labels in modern House and Techno (Poker Flat, Dirt Crew, Liebe*Detail, Missive), played legendary club venues including Berlin’s Panoramabar, Brazil’s D-Edge, Tokyo’s La Fabrique and now San Francisco’s Monarch. Byallo recently relocated to Berlin by way of San Francisco, to focus on studio work and his record label Bad Animal. While living in SF his KONTROL residency became the staple night of the flourishing techno and avaunt house scene. Come experience Alland’s music and you’ll understand why artist like Martin Landsky, Steve Bug, Dirt Crew have all become fans of this “elegant dark lord of the dance floor”. -XLR8R

DJ Spun has a long history in the Bay Area music scene from his legendary DJ sets at many early 90s raves including the Gathering and Come-Unity, to his own nights at DV8 and throughout SF. He now runs his record label Rong out of New York and performs frequently throughout the NYC underground club scene. Spun is phenomenal behind the decks with a genre-defying style, from house to disco, driving deep psychedelic thumpers to old-school-electro-breaks, his no holds back style is sure to work the crowd into a frenzy.

Nikola Baytala is also a Kontrol resident, his styles ranges from techno to deep driving house. Known as the djs-dj his sets have taken him around the world to play the best underground clubs and events. Nikola is currently back in the studio cooking up some ‘Special Weapons and Tactics’ (SWAT) production, so keep an ear out for some quality underground house coming soon from one of our favorite DJs.

DJ M3 aka Manny is a major influence in SF’s music scene. Launching the Green Gorilla Lounge DJ crew and record label in the 90s, which organized and played many of SF’s most notable underground events. Manny is the soul proprietor of Lower Haight’s vinyl music boutique ‘Black Pancakes’, which led to the opening of the The Triple Crown nightclub and now his most recent collaborative project Monarch. M3 continues to rock San Francisco and looks forward to upcoming music release in early 2013.
