Musicians from popular local indie bands are bringing art rock back onto the scene. Local experimental performance artists will set out to blow your mind. And it’s all for a good cause – a new indie film company “making movies of the people, by the people and for the people”. Come out to this rockin’ cocktail party as though David Bowie were your host – don’t let anything stop you!

Girl Wonder Athletic Productions is a web-based interactive multi-media production company whose mission is to support independent artists and reflect the positive impact of artistic expression upon mental and physical health. We are throwing The Experimental Art Rocktail Party to raise the funds to shoot our first two indie films.
The party will feature two new indie/art rock bands – Her Aquatic Sunrise and NN - as they premiere their original songs and a few classic Bowie covers. The bands are made up of members of popular local Indie bands: The Blank Tapes, The Lovely Public, Battlehooch, Mark Matos and Os Beaches and the former BarbaraSteele.
Also participating is a local fashion designer, painter, poet, performance artist, dancers and circus performers. There will be carnival games and interactive installations, as well. This is a well crafted, interactive, fresh theatrical event.
