The Emerging Trends Paris Design Challenge January 18, 2012

CONTEST INFORMATION
We are seeking a savvy and elite group of up-and-coming designers to showcase women's style and trend. The designers will be chosen based on their creativity, experience, and distinctiveness. Contestants will have the opportunity to showcase their never before seen work in front of judges, media, and fashion professionals. This is your chance to gain instant exposure among the global fashion industries elite.

CONTEST DETAILS
The participating designers will create brief fashion shows in order to best showcase their individual designs and artistic abilities. The designers will be responsible for the overall presentation and execution of their show to represent their couture collection. The show will be judged by five fashion industry gurus who will judge the designers based on creativity, practicality and ability to sustain the agile fashion market. The show will select 15 international designers who will compete in three rounds. They are:

Round 1 (Past Trends) - Each designer will showcase 2 designs that show classic trends. 10 out of 15 will be selected from this round. One model will be provided for each designer.
Round 2 (Present Trends) - Designers will showcase 3 looks that demonstrate their understanding of the current trends. 5 out of 10 designers will go on to the next round. Two models will be provided for each designer.
Final Round (Future Trends) - Each designer will showcase 5 looks that show their understanding and knowledge of the future trends and the overall fashion industry. In this round the top three designers will first be picked and interviewed live by the judges and the winning designer will be announced. Four models will be provided for each designer.
