The Edwardian Ball Weekend presents three elegant nights of Turn-of-the-Century revelry in homage to beloved author/illustrator Edward Gorey.

Devotees from as far as NYC and London make their annual pilgrimage to this immersive weekend of music, theatre, literature, art, fashion, acrobatics, ballroom dancing, and more. As participants queue up for the portrait studio they eye each other approvingly, as everyone that steps into the festivities becomes part of the show!

Fri Jan 25th - THE EDWARDIAN WORLD'S FAIRE

The World's Faire returns to San Francisco! Four grand exhibition zones, a mesmerizing stage show, and demonstrations of the latest and greatest the World has to offer. Featuring "The Exhibition of Technology" by Kinetic Steam Works, "The Fashion Bizarre" featuring Dark Garden, "Wonders of The Natural World" by Paxton Gate, and the "Hall of Fine Arts". Performances by Rube Waddell, The Nekyia, The Unextraordinary Gentlemen, City Circus, and more.

Sat Jan 26th - THE EIGHTH ANNUAL EDWARDIAN BALL

The crown jewel of Weekend shines in an Edwardian-era costume ball meets Edward Gorey celebration! Gorey's stories come to life through original scoring and choreography by Ball creators Rosin Coven and co-hosts Vau de Vire Society. Jill Tracy seduces the crowd with her macabre beauty, Edwardian ballroom instructors Vima hit the stage for the Midnight Burlesque, and Goth queen Miz Margo spins late-night favorites.

Sun Jan 27th - SUNDAY GOREY SUNDAY

Our second annual Edwardian Variety Night is a wild collection of Gorey-inspired music, dance, puppetry, acrobatics, storytelling, fashion, and cabaret. Featuring Eric McFadden, Vermillion Lies, Gorey stories by City Circus, Dark Garden, and Fou Fou Ha!, cameos by the Vau de Vire Society, and of course, plenty of room to welcome the unexpected.
