The Eduserv Foundation Symposium 2007 May 9, 2007

This year's symposium will attempt to look past the hype surrounding virtual worlds such as Second Life and evaluate whether they offer real opportunities for learners at UK educational institutions.

The symposium is intended for policy makers, practitioners and technologists working in the areas of information and communications technology and e-learning service delivery in UK HE and FE institutions.

The event is sponsored by Eduserv and is therefore free to all participants and lunch will be provided.

• The Virtual Congress Centre on Eduserv Island.
  
• The auditorium on Cybrary City.
  
• The outdoor teaching space on NMC's Teaching 2 island.
