Bill McKibben is one of America's most important writers on business, culture and the environment. He is the author of ten books, including his latest: Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future. He is also the organizer behind the 2007 Step It Up campaign - the largest demonstration to date in America about climate change. Following the success of Step It Up, Bill McKibben formed the organization 350.org devoted to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis.
