The Eat Here and Errazuriz Wine Dinner August 23, 2012

Sean Murphy’s Beach Bistro and Eat Here chefs will be teaming to present a special “roaming” tasting menu featuring Errazuriz, the premier family wine estate of Chile. All wines will be available for purchase by the bottle or case.

Founded in 1870 the Viña Errazuriz is a world-class vineyard that is the ancestral home of the Chilean industry. Located in the Valle de Aconcagua (north of Santiago), its climate is known for having cool, rainy winters; hot, dry summers and moist ocean breezes.

The Chef teams at the Beach Bistro and Eat Here will present favorite selections from their current menus, while debuting a few new additions. The tasting menu will include smoked salmon pizza, chilled spicy shrimp, lobster tacos, scallop-pan roast and “not your mama’s” pot roast (finished with a slice of foie gras). For dessert, pineapple cake with a Late Harvest reduction sauce and a side of Maytag blue cheese.

Space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. The entire six-course presentation with wine pairings is only $35 per person and will be hosted at at Eat Here Anna Maria Island on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.
