The Earth, The Sea and The Moon is the tale of neurotic hermit ‘Moon’, and the woman he loves. Every day he sits in his apartment and watches the girl of his dreams (even though they have never spoken or even met), and every day is the same. Lost in his imagination, occupied with unrequited love and daydreaming of one day finding the confidence to approach the object of his affection, Moon creates his ultimate alter ego. An alter ego that, in the end, foils his every attempt for true love.

One of the newest and most innovative dance theatre companies to hit the independent scene, Ignite The Dark brings you the Australian Premiere of The Earth, The Sea and The Moon; a neurotic love story.

The brain child of Daniel Ryan and Alfie Scalia (who share over 20 years experience in the performing arts) Ignite The Dark is a concept Dance Theatre Company designed around the premise of performance sharing narrative and meaning, while still using dance as the driving force.
