70–74 City Road
London, England EC1Y 2BJ

The first show in over three years from influential London-based four-piece The Early Years. They released their acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2006 which, as Faris Badwan told NME, inspired The Horrors’ 'Primary Colours' with its mix of Spacemen 3 drones and krautrock dynamics. Their live shows also became the stuff of legend – incendiary and experimental affairs that impressed Brian Eno, who compared drummer Phil Raines to the late, great Klaus Dinger of Neu!. Sadly, various other distractions meant that the band was put on hold – until now. A new single is released to coincide with this one-off date.

With guests Echo Lake and Sennen, plus DJs Andrew Weatherall and Chris Rotter.
