The Dying Sea examines the aftermath of one of the largest environmental disaster mankind has ever perpetrated - the death of the Aral Sea. Working with a 4x5 view camera using black and white film, the selected photographs represent a body of work made in the pursuit of the vanishing sea over a period of many years, covering a large portion of Central Asia in the process.
