The hottest young acoustic band in North America these days comes from unlikely Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The Duhks combine tons of charm, talent and energy with some of the best forms of folk and acoustic music. The Duhks' music is described as "contemporary acoustic," "progressive soul-grass" and "kick-ass rock/folk fusion." There are elements appropriated from Irish fiddle tunes, Canadian French and Scots/Maritime folk and Appalachian Old Time string band in their high-energy music. Jesse Littleton has taken a journey through various musical concepts and adventures and has arrived at the Gran Bel Fisher project.
