The Drones formed in Melbourne as a four-piece band in early 2000. Their sound has been described as a car crash inside a washing machine. Sometimes chaotic and stern, others melodic and joyfull. "This band exists to talk about the things you go through when you confront the big stuff like love, regret, fear," says Ken Griffin, the singer and principle songwriter of Favourite Sons.
