THE DOUBLE R CLUB returns to Bethnal Green Working Mens club on Wednesday 21st October 2009. Doors open 8pm, showtime 9pm. Only £10 with free 'agent cooper' cocktails and Inland Empire biscuits!

Your disreputable host Benjamin Louche introduces bone fide stars of the UK cabaret & Burlesque circuit, including Crimson Sky, Tallulah Mockingbird and Lydia Darling; performing routines directly or indirectly inspired by DAVID LYNCH’s air of mystery, madness and nightmare, all served with humour “Black, like midnight on a moonless night…”

Think the finger-clicking jazz ambience of cult TV show Twin Peaks, think the bizarre monochrome machine world of Eraserhead; from the dark underbelly of Mulholland Drive, to the surreal small town madness of Blue Velvet, an evening of “Damn fine” Lynchian Cabaret & Burlesque, of mystery and nightmares, played out to an otherworldly rock ‘n’ roll soundscape
