The Districts Funniest College Competition 2006 April 5, 2006

Get ready because THE DISTRICTS FUNNIEST COLLEGE COMPETITION is coming to a campus near you!

Johns Hopkins - February 28th, 2006
GMU - March 3rd, 2006
Variety College Showcase - March 7th at The Improv
Catholic University - March 9th, 2006
American University- March 22nd, 2006
Howard University- March 23rd, 2006
George Washington - March 30th, 2006
Finals at THE DC IMPROV - April 5th, 2006

April 5th final show begins at 8:00 p.m.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for seating

The DC Improv is searching for the funniest college student in the Washington D.C. and surrounding areas and will host showcases at several universities around town. Each performance will consist of 8-10 college students/comedians performing 5 minutes of original stand-up material in front of an audience of their peers and a panel of expert judges. Students will be selected as winners from each individual school and will be invited to perform for the finals to be held at The DC Improv on APRIL 5th, 2006.

At the finals, one student will be crowned the winner and is rewarded with a paid gig at The DC Improv, a featured write-up on AOL City Guide, plus additional prizes. The prize for the University is a reputation for housing some of the funniest students in the area. It s a win win situation, unless of course you lose the competition.
