The Dirty Dozen Brass Band June 29, 2007

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band combines R&B rhythms with a traditional New Orleans brass section for a rich, infectious sound. The Southland encompasses emotively sung melodies that Ben Gibbard or The Shins would admire and lyrics bearing a sophisticated corrosiveness that recalls Fagen-Becker and Randy Newman.
