Munster, INDIANA – The incredibly popular and timeless true story The Diary of Anne Frank, comes to Theatre at the Center’s Theatre for Young Audiences Monday, March 15 through Saturday, March 20. Anne Frank was a courageous Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis during World War Two. While hiding in a secret attic with her family, she recorded in her diary each and every observable fact, coupled with her own reflections. This play reveals the sensitivity and emotional struggles she and her family endured during the confinement. Theatre at the Center Theatre for Young Audiences is located at 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana.

The story begins with Otto Frank, as he returns to the attic where his Jewish family survived for years, hiding from the Nazis. Taking a trip back in time, Otto begins reading The Diary of Anne Frank which follows Anne and her family as she documents the events of her life. Simultaneously with the production, a mini Holocaust exhibit and an informative talk back session with a docent sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Northwest Indiana will run.
