10 Brilliant Artists/10 Killer Stories

On Thursday, May 3rd, New York theater company The Debate Society is hosting an evening of stories and performances by some of New York's greatest creators. Stealing the format of the 14th century collection of novellas "The Decameron", The Debate Society has gathered a wide range of talents (authors, playwrights, filmmakers, a magician, a chef . . . ) to present 10 short works based on a theme.

The event benefits The Debate Society's upcoming play "The Eaten Heart" (also based on The Decameron) as well as The Debate Society's community partner God's Love We Deliver, an organization that works to feed New Yorkers who because of a disease cannot provide for themselves.

Free food and drink provided by Telephone Bar and Grill.
