2402 Guadalupe
Austin, Texas

Dalton Publishing is excited to announce the launch of its author
reading series: The Dalton Gang Readings.

Dalton plans to bring its authors to the public through a dynamic and
innovative reading series that is guaranteed to entertain. Each reading
will be distinctively different, offering creative alternatives to
present-day reading formats.

The first of these readings will be at Austin's newest bookstore,
Intellectual Property at 2402 Guadalupe, Wednesday, February 7, 6pm
(refreshments at 5:30). Parking will be validated for attendees who park at the UT parking garage on 23rd and San Antonio.

This reading is entitled: The Dalton Gang Poetry Showdown, and will
feature four of Dalton's published poets in a fast-paced, round-robin
style reading.

Each of these featured poets have been on the Austin literary scene for
years. Ric Williams (the secret book of god, 2005) has been the “Litera”
editor for the Austin Chronicle for nearly 20 years; Lyman Grant (The
Road Home, 2006) is the Dean of Arts and Humanities at ACC; Michener
Fellow W. Joe Hoppe (Galvanized, 2006) also teaches at ACC; and digital
artist and novelist Robert Stikmanz, (Prelude to a Change of Mind, 2007)
has had a presence in the Austin creative underground for most of three
decades.

The authors will read from their respective books as well as from new
material. All of their books will be available for sale at the event.
