An engaging introduction for students of electronic music, installation and sound-art to the craft of making-as well as creatively cannibalizing-electronic circuits for artistic purposes. This class provides a guided tour through the world of electronics, encouraging you to get to know the inner workings of basic electronic devices so you can creatively use these devices for your own ends. The class covers the basic electronic principles and practical circuitry, always from the point of view of an artist. You will learn the style of intuitive and visceral experimentation that has been lost in this day of prefabricated electronic musical instruments. Transcend any fear of electronic technology and launch yourself into the pleasure of working creatively with all kinds of analog circuitry.

Would it be feasible to enroll in this, knowing that you'd miss one of the sessions? I'm very interested, but I'll be out of town the weekend of March 23. The universe is transpiring against me!
