Hands-on Furnace Building and Operation for Pouring Bronze and Aluminum Get down and dirty in The Crucible's foundry as you learn to safely execute every fiery step of the foundry process from start to finish. During this multi-disciplinary course, you'll have the unique opportunity to learn the three skill sets essential for any true foundry enthusiast. First, we'll design and construct a gas furnace. Then we'll cover the techniques to build green sand molds for pouring bronze and aluminum. After the molds and furnace are finished, we'll use our functional creations to as cast molten bronze and aluminum.
