Shop for industrial surplus at The Crucible’s Rusty Elephant Sale, view art created by Crucible students and faculty, and watch demonstrations of welding, blacksmithing, and other industrial arts. The Crucible, an Oakland-based art center and school of industrial arts and fire arts, offers hundreds of classes in the industrial arts. If you’re interested in green art, the Rusty Elephant Sale provides material for repurposing, Crucible classes provide the know-how, and you provide the artistic inspiration!
