Drop the Lime

Born and raised in New York City, dropthelime (aka L. Venezia), began experimenting with live and electronic instruments and recording songs at the early age of 14. Inspired by the local rave scene, Venezia bought a pair of turntables and began dj'ing techno,jungle, & drum & bass. Within the elements of your older brother's hardcore punk, lies grime and drum&bass influenced neo rave anthems. With releases on respected underground labels worldwide (Ambush, Peaceoff, Broklynbeats & now, Tigerbeat6), his rising status in the developing scene of live electronic music is constantly expanding globally. Incorporating his own vocals with mashed up bangers, be ready for some new damage on the dancefloor. DTL is a dagger in the sound of your pop music heartthrob. Mathhead

A young Brooklynite, Mathhead produces and plays a wide variety of music, from breakcore to melodic sample based beats. Taking influences from early 90’s hardcore, reggae, tampa bass and dubstep has earned Mathhead releases on Six Records, Reduced Phat, Peaceoff and The Consumers Research and Development Label. Joseph Francis Machine, a.k.a. one-half of the DJ disaster team The Creature, has a simple mission...to coax notes out of his laptop that will truly represent the wonder that is Dirty Jersey, the beloved stank zone he calls home.
