The Constitution and the Court May 13, 2008

Since the landmark Marbury v. Madison case in 1803, the United States Supreme Court has been America's premier Constitutional battleground. This term promises to be no different, as several controversial legal issues will come under consideration, from gun control to capital punishment to terrorism. Benno C. Schmidt, Jr., will moderate a debate between two Constitutional scholars with differing philosophies, as they discuss the current direction of the Court and what impact it will have on the coming Presidential election and on Constitutional law.
