The Compass Rose Orchestra, Marcus Tenney Quintet November 15, 2009

The Compass Rose Orchestra: The Compass Rose Orchestra is the product of eight like minded musicians under the direction of Lucas Fritz. With arrangements of tunes from Chris Potter, Cream, Bjork, Rufus Wainwright, and Lucas, the group strives to take music to the next level by drawing upon all of their combined musical influences and regurgitating them in the most organic way.

The Marcus Tenney Quintet: Lead by trumpet player turned tenor saxophonist, the Marcus Tenney Quartet plays Marcus' orginals along with some other tunes. The group's dynamic is electric and is definitely not something to miss.
