The Coasters were honored as the first group inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 1990, Cornell Gunter was killed, but members of the group carried on, forming Cornell Gunter's Coasters. The group's hits include 'Yakety Yak,' 'Charlie Brown,' 'Searchin',' and 'Poison Ivy.'
