The Choir for All Seasons presents "Across the Pond" July 2, 2011

The Choir For All Seasons presents music from America to celebrate the Fourth of July (Independence Day) weekend.
American music has developed a fascinatingly different range of culture from that of Europe and our programme reflects that diversity, from a folk song from the civil war through sacred music, opera and jazz to the distinctive contributions of Broadway revue and musicals and the film music of Hollywood. Listen to the music of Stephen Foster, Copland, Bernstein, Gershwin and Bacharach among others, in a memorable evening of melody in song to bring our season to a close.
