The Chicago Jazz Ensemble A Triumph of Trumpets April 10, 2008

In celebration of JAM! (Jazz Appreciation Month), join Jon Faddis and the Chicago Jazz Ensemble for a spectacular night of trumpets. This concert will feature many extraordinary trumpeters and showcase a variety of styles in Jazz. Keep an ear out for music by Louis "Pops" or "Satchmo" Armstrong (who moved from New Orleans to Chicago to New York and then world!) and discover how the trumpet's role in Jazz has evolved over the past century.
