The Cathedral of St. John the Divine will host its annual Halloween Extravaganza and Procession of the Ghouls All Hallows Eve celebration on Friday, October 26th at 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, located at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue (at 112th Street), Manhattan.

Brave souls can enjoy a screening of the classic film Nosferatu (1922) accompanied by the Cathedral’s Great Organ, played by Timothy Brumfield. Immediately following each screening, Ralph Lee and the Mettawee River Theatre Company will present the Procession of the Ghouls down the entire length of the nave. Guests can expect ghostly mischief and ghoulish tricks as the Cathedral is taken over by fantastical creatures of the night. Seats closest to the action are for the bravest of heart, who may find themselves confronted with the hooked nose of a demon, the mossy nails of a witch, or the bulging cheeks of a ghostly manchild.

Tickets are available for $20. For further information or to purchase tickets please visit http://www.stjohndivine.org/HalloweenExtravaganza2012.html
