The Cataracs have been described as “revolutionary”, “universal”, and “beyond category”, but save that for a group who needs it. The Cataracs futuristic electro pop music and the buzz it has created speak for itself. “Baby, Baby (The Lovers Anthem)” has hit the underground and the airwaves by storm, rising to number 2 on the Wild 94.9’s top 7 and receiving praise form XLR8R and The Fader for their electro-pop meets party rap style. These young Berkeley High alumni have created a sound that combines raw youthful energy with space-age melody’s and East Bay swagger. We will be celebrating the debut of the video to “Baby Baby ”, by director Taj, the man behind numerous hit videos including Rhianna’s “Please Don’t Stop the Music”. Come and see for yourself what the hype behind these sexy spaceboys is all about, before you have to watch them from the nosebleed section.
