The Can Do & the Blizzard of '78 November 1, 2005

A narrated slide presentation by award-winning author Michael Tougias at the Melrose Public Library. "Ten Hours Until Dawn" tells the amazing story of an oil tanker, the Coast Guard, and the Pilot Boat Can Do all lost in the blizzard. Michael Tougias will tell the true story of who survived and who did not and why. Book-signing to follow.
