The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (1920) With Live Accompaniment October 19, 2012

Avant rock trio BruteHeart presents its score to the German Expressionist film 'The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari,' a masterpiece of the silent era. The score was commissioned by the Walker Art Center, and first presented as the concluding event of their 'Summer Movies & Music' series this year. The Cedar is collaborating with BruteHeart in providing this second chance to see the movie with the live score, with set designs by Jonathan Kaiser (infinity rooms), shadow projections by Christopher Allen and soundscapes by MAKR to open (between 7 and 8pm).
