The Business Factory featuring The Pitch 2010 grand final November 16, 2010

The Business Factory is one of the only events in the UK that will bring leading entrepreneurs together to mentor and support start-up and small business owners. Covering practical business operation, this free one-day event will include heaps of valuable advice and insight aimed at helping your business grow at the pace you want.

The event will also include the live grand final of The Pitch 2010, the competition which has given entrepreneurs in five cities around the UK the chance to pitch in front of top business names. Five winners plus a wildcard entrepreneur chosen by the public will compete on stage at The Business Factory with the champion winning business support prizes worth £50,000.

As well as the Pitch, The Business Factory will also include a mentoring area, where you will be able to talk face-to-face with experienced business mentors.

In the Marketing Strategy Unit we will explore how small businesses can reap the benefits of creative online and offline marketing, social networking and PR techniques to deliver the returns more commonly associated with big budget strategies. Throughout the year, we've been guiding four entrepreneurs through a series of tasks in the Business Boot Camp. We'll follow their progress, and you’ll be able to read what they achieve and share in what they learn.
