The Budos Band August 10, 2007

The Budos Band is the quintessence of Staten Island Soul. Their exciting new afro-influenced take on instrumental music has been captivating listeners at gigs across the Tri-State area. This group plays a mix of Afro-Cuban roots, jazz and electronica. This band includes members from the bands Last Wave and the Ropers. Botany 500, a Philadelphia-based DJ, rents iPods full of custom music mixes to local restaurants, stores, and salons to play through their sound systems.
