It’s the show Merrillville and the Star Plaza have been waiting for…three legendary groups…all Chicago natives, unite for a memorable evening of classic ‘60s rock.

Five teenagers from Chicago’s west side were propelled in to the national spotlight with the now classic two-minute recording sensation "Kind Of A Drag" THE BUCKINGHAMS followed their #1 smash hit with even more Top Ten singles, including "Don't You Care," "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy," "Hey Baby, They’re Playing Our Song,” "Lawdy Miss Clawdy," and "Susan." With Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortuna center stage, THE BUCKINGHAMS are still one of the most electrifying acts of today.

With its signature horn riff and one of the most memorable opening lines in rock-n-roll, THE IDES OF MARCH’s “Vehicle” has earned a place in rock history. THE IDES first formed in 1965 while still attending Morton West High School. Breaking up in 1973, Jim Peterik went on to solo success with Survivor, co-penning hits like “Eye of the Tiger,” The Search is Over” and “High On You.” Reuniting in1990 for a one time performance, THE IDES decided to reunite permanently.

Evanston-born rocker RONNIE RICE began playing the guitar when he was only 16. Joining the Chicago-based group The New Colony Six during the late '60s, RONNIE sang lead vocals on a number of their hit records, including "I Will Always Think About You" and "Things I'd Like to Say."
