Guests will enjoy award-winning teas and help raise money for victims of the tsunami.

Famous Tea Sommelier Cynthia Gold has brought back to America the winning flavor of the Sri Lankan Estate Tea of the Year competition. The First Place High Grown tea, which was grown in very limited production in the highest region of Sri Lanka, will be the centerpiece of an afternoon tea event with all proceeds benefiting the ongoing Sri Lankan tsunami relief efforts. The event will consist of a special Sri Lankan Tea Cocktail, followed by a three course afternoon tea featuring several examples of tea cuisine, with a chance to enjoy the limited award winning tea throughout. Julian Landa, a Boston-area surrealist, will be creating a special work of art in honor of this event and this very special tea, which will be auctioned off at the event for charity.

Will take place in the Swans Café at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers
