The Blank Tapes is the moniker for singer/songwriter Matt Adams, who writes, records, sings and plays all of The Blank Tapes music. The 2002 debut CD 'Country western honky tonk saloon blues' features the song 'Newport Beach' which was included on a few CD compilations and radio stations including LA's Indie 103.1. The Parties play music inspired by '60s bands like the Who, Kinks, & the Velvet Underground and modern bands inspired by the '60s like Teenage Fanclub, the High Dials and Luna.
