The Billy Colucci Trio January 28, 2011

A formidable composer and masterful pianist, Billy Colucci spent his youth leading the house band for Charlie Byrd's DC club The Showboat, working with Anita O'Day, June Christy and Dizzy Gillespie. Often compared to Bill Evans, Fells Point-based Colucci's lyrical, introspective compositions make him a Baltimore treasure. He is joined by John Leonard on bass and Mike Kuhl on drums.
