Compromised of SF Bay Area music vets Ryan Lukas (bass, vocals), Jacob Groopman (guitar, vocals) and Matthew "Smitty" Smith (percussion, vocals), The Big Nasty is a new kind of power trio.

The band utilizes a unique combination of instruments that allow for a fresh take on rock and roll and country - Upright Bass, the Cajon box drum and Electric guitar. This original instrumentation has allowed the band to develop a truly original sound that will rock your socks right off.
