The Coen Brother's unstoppable cult classic has inspired countless bowling parties and drinking games (especially those involving White Russians), and even its own festival - Lebowskifest! (lebowskifest.com). We're always looking for a good reason to bring back this fast and lovably oddball slacker classic in all its big screen glory, so we've decided to celebrate those lazy, hazy days of summer by spending some time with The Dude.

Not only are we showing the film, but we're planning a party! Before the show, join us and test your skill at bowling and rug peeing (yes! Rug peeing!), then select audience members will participate in our special Lebowski contests - trivia, impressions, and drinking contests - to win prizes that even El Duderino would approve of. And don't forget to WEAR YOUR BOWLING SHIRTS - as the best shirt wins an extra special prize!

Wait? You say you haven't seen the Big Lebowski? Well, get thee to the cinema and see Jeff Bridges in one of his most amazing performances as stoned and laid back Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski (based on a real life Hollywood agent and friend of the Coen Brothers). The Dude must find Los Angeles' other Jeff Lebowski (successful, rich, and old) to get retribution for his peed-on rug. Along with his bowling buddies, crazed vet Walter (John Goodman) and mousy Donny (Steve Buscemi), the Dude is sent on a mission to find the kidnapped wife of the "Big" Lebowski, much to the chagrin of his daughter Maude (Julianne Moore).

It's an outrageously insane comedy of bowling, confused identities, naked performance art, porn-obsessed nihilists, a sex offender named Jesus (John Turturro), and some unforgettable musical dream sequences. And did we mention that the f-word is featured over 200 times? That's right, it's unabashedly rude, but in typical Coen Brothers style it is also strangely sweet, bizarrely poignant, completely genre-busting, and one of the funniest films you'll ever see!
