The Big Broadcast of 1938: The War of the Worlds October 29, 2009

The Post-Meridian Radio Players present their annual tribute to the Golden Age of Radio with “The Frank Cyrano Byfar Hour” and Orson Welles' infamous "War of the Worlds" radio play, adapted to follow events in Boston during the ”Martian Invasion” - ending with a climactic battle of the Mob vs. the Martians! A live foley team creates sound effects while actors recreate the old-time radio experience in front of microphones.
