Rated the Best Fireworks Display in London by Capital Radio, critically acclaimed by Time Out 'a wildly ambitious theatrical fireworks display', and named best fireworks display in London by Capital Radio, our annual spectacular free firework and fire display is set to illuminate the skies above Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets on 2 November at 7.30pm.
This unique theatrical pyrotechnic extravaganza is entitled The Big Bang and has been organised by Tower Hamlets Council Arts and Events team. The show will be produced by internationally renowned pyrotechnicians Walk The Plank working with Graduates and Post Graduate Students from Central School of Speech and Drama.
Soundtrack and magical special effects help animate the fire show - before the firework finale lights up the skies.
Food will be on sale and there is a funfair at the park from 4pm. Fireworks and glass bottles will not be allowed into the park for the event.
The entrance is via Grove Road and the nearest tube station is Mile End. There is no parking at the event however there will be limited disabled parking in the Grove Road car parks. There is also a wheel chair accessible viewing area.
To get there by bus take the 277 - Victoria Park, 339, 8 and D6 - get off at Grove Road junction with Roman Road, 338 get off at Grove Road junction with Victoria Park Road, 25 get off at Mile End station
