The Bi Eye on Queer Film
Reception 6-7 Program 7-9:30
The LGBT Center, BiRequest and the Bi Writers Association present a program of funny and provocative short films that walk the borderline between bi, gay and heteroflexible. How does the “bi eye” alter the perception of queer films? How does the “gay eye” differ in point of view? How does your orientation affect the way you perceive a story? How do these stories portray bisexual characters? Bring your opinions!
$5 Free snacks and cash bar.

Film Program
A woman is enticed by a seductive couple to explore a polyamorous bisexual relationship in Make Room for Phyllis; two men go Mano A Mano, a couple trying to Hold Up a convenience store hits an unexpected snag and a girl accidentally kisses a frog, sparking a magical visitation in A Fairy Tale. The Best Men revisit the past and each other at a wedding; a suburban housewife must face an adulterous affair she had years ago, when it comes back to haunt her--as her son’s new girlfriend in Happenstance; two dolls confront their emotions after a night of unforgettable passion in Operated by Invisible Hands, two high school kids experiment in After School Special and a mock 50’s style educational film is a send-up of biphobia in Shady Bi.
