Guildhall Walk
Portsmouth, England

A crazy, riotous and fast-paced English version of Rossini's classic comic opera The Barber of Seville.

Lifted out of 17th century Spain, the action is dumped hook, line and sinker into 1950's London: the era of Brylcreem, Teddy Boys and rock'n'roll. Figaro, the famous barber, plies his trade among the fashionable set and outwits all of them in the name of true love.

A show for opera enthusiasts and first-timers alike, performed with a live orchestra.

"An uproarious and totally unexpected makeover."
