THE CANADIAN INVASION HAS ARRIVED: Starring - The Bamfs (as the locals) with The Music Box (CAN) & Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs (CAN) - brought to you by Canada and the letter A(y).

Have you ever sat down for breakfast (in your tighty whities of course), while blaring your fav tunes so the neighbors know you are awake, and to simultaneously eat your eggs and bacon (wishing it was Canadian bacon at that) - and suddenly a thought... pops in your head...."Hmmm...I wonder what our "Northern Neighbors" are up to? Are they too wishing for bacon, but an American version? Do they also wish they were playing music right now? If so, what would they be playing?"

Well, we knew what you were thinking (scary huh). So we decided to bring you some answers!! WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF AWESOME CANADIAN MUSIC!!!

Show starts @ 9 pm!!
18+
$5 - YES, only 5 dolla!!

THE BAMFS (Raleigh) will open for these two amazing acts!

We are crazy. That's all you need to know.

Next up: THE MUSIC BOX (Waterloo/Kitchener, Ontario, Canada)
http://themusicbox.bandcamp.com/

"A swampy blend of genre's that defy geography for a band from Waterloo, the Music Box blend the country of late 60's Bakersfield, the whiskey soaked freneticism of the Pogues, Woody Guthries politics, and some of the most 60's surf leads you'll ever find 700km inland. All delivered with tons of energy and the tightrope dynamics of the Pixies/Frank Black."

Headlining: SAM COFFEY AND THE IRON LUNGS ( Waterloo, Ontario, Canada)
http://samcoffeyandtheironlungs.bandcamp.com/

"my ol' man loves me the most
my ol' man loves me the most
holy father holy ghost
holy father holy ghost
girl, we work harder
we go that extra mile"

This was taken from their facebook biography. Where it is even stated they are totally worth the $5. Damn straight they are!! The last two lines should say it all, who doesn't want to see somebody that works harder and goes the extra mile? Who doesn't want to hear blazing country garage/rock/punk (sometimes even surf rock)? Listen as their music filters into your brain, coursing through your veins, straight down to your stomping, toe-tapping feet!! Get your booties shaking, your arms flailing, and your minds thumping to the sounds of Canada at its best!!! You will thank us for it!!
