The Nation's Biggest Jewish Singles Event (LetMyPeopleGo.com) + The Nation's Leading Jewish Singles Network (JDate.com) = An Unprecedented Event Expected to Be the Biggest Jewish Singles Parties in San Diego history!

The Ball 2008

As seen in both The New York Times and The Washington Post, The Ball has been the Nation’s Biggest Jewish Singles Event 13 years in a row! More than 4,300 people attended last year in NYC alone (see videos and photos at http://www.theball2008.com)! That’s more than attend any Matzo Ball party in the country.

The Ball is so successful because we work hard to attract an amazing crowd of 20’s and 30’s Jewish Singles - the most important element - and because we choose the hippest venues for our events with great music and easy conversation.

This year, The Ball will be held in 25 cities worldwide! In San Diego, we are partnering with JDate.com for a unprecedented event that we expect to be one of the biggest Jewish Singles events in San Diego history!

The Ball 2008 in San Diego will be held on Christmas Eve at the exclusive Minus 1 Lounge and will feature:

• Drink specials (to be announced)
• A great DJ spinning music that's fun to dance to but never so loud that you can't talk!
• Quieter areas allowing for intimate conversation, meeting new friends and catching up with old ones.
• 1000+ Jewish Singles ages 21-39 are expected to join us during the course of the night.

Situated in the "chill subterranean space" (Riviera Magazine) of what MSNBC designated one of the four "coolest hotels in the world," Minus 1 was designed by the same folks who crafted such exotic autos as Ferrari and Maserati, and the lounge was created to possess that same sleek, smooth feel. The bar in this "sexy underground lounge" (CITY Magazine) is ultra high-tech as it's made entirely from aluminium and steel. Conversely, the walls reveal peeks to the original brick and stone, showing off the heritage of the hotel building.

"The venue's accents include stainless steel, smoked glass and fine European-made furniture" (AOL CityGuide). And a "state-of-the-art sound and lighting system creates a heady experience: Motors, movable screens and floor-to-ceiling walls of frosted glass (as projection surfaces) makes images appear to float in the air above the crowds" (Citysearch).

We look forward to seeing you on December 24!
