The Backyard Battle for HS Students at The Art Institute of Portland October 4, 2009

The Backyard Battle is a team challenge for high school students. They will complete challenges each weekend in October leading up to
the 3rd annual Backyard Bang city rail jam on October 31st, 2009 at The Art Institute of Portland. Student teams will compete for awesome prizes from Salomon Snowboards, Bonfire Outerwear, and Mount Hood Meadows.

Prizes will be awarded at the Backyard Bang Rail Jam, October 31st at The Art Institute of Portland.

• Maximum of 4 students per team.
• Completed challenges will be entered by emailing the picture to
[email protected].
• Challenges are simple and may include such things as dressing up in snowboard gear and taking your picture in weird locations, creating a Backyard Battle Sign and a scavenger hunt.
• Challenges can be completed from any location.
• Challenge winners and their prizes will be announced each week on
backyardbattle.net.
The overall Grand Champion team will be awarded brand new Salomon snowboards!

Teams must be present at the Backyard Bang on October 31st to receive prizes.

Backyard Battle Kick Off Party - October 4th at The Art Institute of Portland. 2-4pm.

All participants must come to:
• Drop off parent signed consent forms.
• Pick up participation packages full of FREE swag.
• Party - MUSIC, FOOD, GAMES and more.
