The Bacchae January 21, 2007

'The Bacchae' is a re-imagining of Euripides' tragedy incorporating original music and dance. The God Dionysus returns to the city of Thebes and entrances the men (not the women) into a "bacchic" frenzy. The play explores modern issues of sexuality, power, and the ultimate price for self-repression.
