The Autumn Hackathon 2012 October 27, 2012

The Autumn Hackathon 2012 will focus on building apps  to make learning fun, memorable and cool: for teachers, tools to help them focus on creativity in education; for pupils, fun ways (eg simulations, games, animation) to engage with the world of knowledge.

The tagline for the  event is "apps for teaching and learning". Lead sponsors are Pearson Developer Unit and RIM Blackberry.

Devs may build with whichever tools they choose. They may create apps natively, from APIs or using templates. Lots of cool prizes for winning teams.
