The Aus-teen Chronicle's Battle of the Bands November 11, 2006

The Aus-teen Chronicle is hosting a high school Battle of the Bands at the Zilker Park Hillside Theater Friday, November 11th from 7 to 9 PM. There will be six of Austin’s best high school garage bands competing for prizes as well as a gig at Jo’s Coffee. The event will also include a fundraiser to raise money for your schools prom. So we can all stop complaining that Austin area high schools don’t have enough money to put on the prom that the students dream about. This is a peoples choice event meaning you are the judge on who rocks out the best. We’re not charging you a thing. Just give what you can when you can and have a good time on us. The more people you bring, the more cash is raised so spread it around. We’ll see you there!
